In my email to you earlier this week, I shared our 2025 year in review. And now I’m excited to reveal our 2026 plans. 🥁 Starting with our theme for the year … Our theme is compounding creativity, connection, cashflow. We spent 2025 laying the foundations for our rebrand and for our expanded suite of services. 2026 is about compounding those efforts for creativity, connection, and conversions. 📝 2026 is about leaning into creativity because the more I work with AI, the more I adore analog activities, like going for walks without my AirPods, thinking on paper, baking from a recipe book, and reading paperbacks. Staying creative doesn’t mean we'll stop using AI. Nope. We’re always being mindful of how we use it. Which means you won’t see us using it to generate photos of us shaking hands with Taylor Swift. 😂 Staying creative for me means continuing to write these emails to you and our blog posts, as well as every copy asset for our clients. Every word is always typed out by my 46-year-old fingers on my brand-new MacBook Air. Yes, I got a new laptop for New Year’s! 🙌🏼 It is about using AI with a strategy-first, sales-focused approach. Problem-solving is a creativity booster, at least for me. AI helps both accelerate and amplify creativity as a strategist. A few tiny creativity-boosting experiments I plan to run this year include: 💯Uninstalling all social media apps from my phone for at least one weekend every month for the next 3 months. I did this for a week in December and loved how quiet it felt and how clearer my thinking was. 🧠Learning a new “offline” skill every month for the first quarter. For January, it’ll be baking bread, or rather baking with yeast. It’s been intimidating me for the longest time ever. I’ll continue or discard these experiments based on what I find at the end of the first quarter. Other creativity sharpeners include: Sharing creative thinking prompts and exercises in our Analog AI space inside the AI Conversion Suite. Writing personal blog-style on either Substack or my highly neglected personal Instagram account. 🧡 2026 is about connection. Connection has always been the cornerstone of our business. I started a mom blog in 2008 that evolved into our business in 2011 because I was craving connection with other moms. In the spirit of compounding our connection efforts, we’ve invested in communities where we meet with fellow entrepreneurs across niches, have rich conversations, and make time for coffee dates. We're excited about exploring new collaborations, partnership opportunities with our peers, speaking to new audiences, guesting on more podcasts. 🤝🏼 On the personal front, Mayank and I will be celebrating our 21st anniversary this year. Some of the small but meaningful shifts we’re making to deepen our connection include: 🚶🏻♀️Unplugged, aka no AirPods, regular(ish) walks where we talk about our plans, goals, and dreams for business or life. 🥙Trying at least ONE new recipe every week. Mayank loves whipping up a delicious meal, and I love being his sous chef. Our dinners have, for a long time, felt mundane and repetitive, leading us to order a lot of takeout. 2026 is about finding more fun recipes to add to the mix while enjoying the connection that comes from cooking together. ♦️Game nights. We love playing Sequence and want to add more of these to the mix. We’re planning to learn card games, like poker, too. Recommendations? Send them our way! With our (soon-to-be) 18-year-old daughter, Manini, heading to college, we want to continue strengthening our connection with her. (PS: We recently shared how we've built a college fund for her so she won't have to take out a loan. Check it out here.) That means more movie nights, shopping expeditions, and simply sitting around and chatting. We’re grateful we already have a strong connection with her, so it’s more a matter of making more space for it before she leaves. 🫶🏼 From a social perspective, connection looks like inviting friends over to our home at least once a month and hosting monthly book club meetings. I set this up last year in December and hope to kick off meetings this month. 💰And now conversions and cashflow … Compounding cashflow in 2026 means setting up strong funnels for our offers, testing new offers, and adding at least 1-2 additional revenue streams. We’ll start the year with our new website, featuring our new offer suite. Scheduled for a February launch. And we’re already brewing up ideas for an AI membership and an all-new sales strategy program designed to help you optimize and sell your offers. 👏🏼 It also means continuing to invest in skill-building because every time we’ve done that, our revenue has increased. Quite simply, my friend … 2026 is where we continue with grace, grit, and gratitude as we build a business that’s "intentionally profitable" and help YOU build a business that’s “profitably yours.” Cheering you on,
