5 email marketing strategies for you


I'm in the middle of multiple LIVE launches and evergreen funnels for our Growth Unbottled retainer clients, and it's the perfect testing ground for email strategies. 🙌🏼

If you've ever worked with me ... you know I'm eternally curious and forever experimenting.

Because like I've banged on for a while ... what worked in 2020 isn't working for the most part. 🤷🏻‍♀️

So, here are 5 quick-win strategies for you to test out in your next email:

1.Build LIVE webinar show up engagement with Polls

If you use Kit (like our clients and we do!), use polls.

They're a fabulously easy way to engage your webinar audience, gather early feedback, and segment them, too. 👏🏼

If you don't have access to polls, use a simple single-question survey and embed it into your emails.

2. Use video in your emails

MOST of my clients know this by now, but I will make them record a personal message and use it in their email sequence. 😆

Reason? Trust building, relationship strengthening, and adding a personal touch. Bonus points for using a quirky thumbnail when linking.

3. Test short emails.

Single-line emails. 27-word emails. I've done it all, and they all work wonderfully for encouraging click-throughs and conversions.

These work especially well towards cart close AND for high-intent prospects. 👀

4. Encourage people to reply and incentivise the reply. Make it worth their time.

For instance, "Reply to this email with your biggest sales-related challenge, and I’ll send you a Social Proof Strategist AI Assistant who'll help you gather, organize, and optimize your testimonials so you can use social proof strategically to increase conversions."

(I'm serious. Reply and I'll do this.)

5. Behavior-based sequences are still going strong. These are segment-specific sequences that kick in when a behavior is met, like completing a certain course, so you can invite them to join your mastermind.
